Is it an action thriller or is it a repetitive story about sepsis?

None of the stories are keeping my attention 

I, like many, picked this one up after the hype on TikTok. This was a very quick read that I finished in just two sittings in a day. I think it’s perfect for a quick summer read if you’re looking for something with a thriller vibe, but don’t want something too dark. 

I’m docking some points on this one for some minor grammatical errors and some very shallow character development of the family Leigh moved in with. Additionally, I’m concerned about the choice of the name Nacho for the singular Latino character. 

I’m glad he’s getting the attention because overall this was a good book! I’d pick up whatever he publishes next 

I’m sorry, but I need more than catty friendships in a book I expected dark comedy/thriller aspects in.
