think it might be time to call it quits with this series idk why i keep reading them when i haven't really enjoyed any of them

this is an interesting one because i feel like the second-chance of it all is something that i often don't feel is done well but here it worked for me. that being said the miscommunication was infuriating and i wished the book hadn't spent so much time setting up the spinoff. you can always tell when the author spends too much time on side characters that the dreaded spinoff is incoming

i was so excited for this harvey/donna from suits type romance and while i enjoyed the first few chapters i felt like once the main characters got married this just became the exact same book as the first one. i get that the premise is necessarily similar but there needed to be unique things happening and i just didn't feel like there was or frankly like the brothers were at all distinct from one another
