Meet Cute is an anthology on the topic of the first meets between two people that eventually blossoms into a romance.
Since this is an anthology, I will be rating the book as a whole (above), then each story individually (below). I also will just be giving regular star ratings because most of these are quite easy to read and have a semi-loose plot (being short and just an initial meet).

Siege Etiquette involves Hailey and Wolf, stuck in a bathroom as the police are outside.
This was my first time reading second-person point of view and it wasn't that bad. I didn't really like Hailey as a characterand also didn't like the casual cheating.

Evie had just started working at a print shop, and her first task is to satisfy Lauren and her need of a banner.
Nothing was really developed between Evie and Lauren. The story mainly focuses on the things that occur before they meet, not on the meet itself.

Cherish isn't skinny or at a normal height or has a desire to go to the prom, but then her best friend ditches her for her bully. Desperate for a dress, Cherish meets Mamadou, who might be the key to a prom dress.
I really didn't like the characters. Also, no build-up to the actual meet, which happens only 3 pages before the end of the story.

Click is the hit dating app, it can predict matches with surprising accuracy. As Alexa and Raden try Click for the first time, an adventure ensues.
I really liked how fast-paced this was. It was sweet and actually focused on two characters getting to know each other.

Clara is interning at her father's record company. The newest talent, Phineas, happens to be in town and Clara takes him on a tour of New York City.
This was actually quite cliche, but I liked following Phineas and Clara around. Their interactions were cute.

Nia is transgender and Lexie's parents aren't the most accepting. Still in the closet, Lexie is taught to be brave and stand up for others as well as herself.
I didn't really see any spark between Nia and Lexie.

The people born on the Isle of Meridien have a mark on their ring fingers. Once that mark dissapears, they meet their true love, and if they touch their marks with another person's, who knows what will happen. Curious, Sebastien and Viola find out what's in their future.
I loved this concept and idea. The relationship between Sebastien and Viola was both sweet and heartbreaking.

Going through an airport, Johanna and Cassidy find themselves in the company of each other.
This was really sweet, but nothing too special.

As Moss keeps calling the unknown H. Smith over an overdue dictionary, she grows curious over the stranger's identity.
I have recently found out I love the two-strangers-talk-anonymously-and-eventually-fall-in-love trope. This was really sweet and fulfilled this trope quite well.

One day, as Sam is on the subway, she glances up out of a window to find herself looking at a boy in a blue hoodie. Immediately fascinated, Sam chooses to base her AP Statistics project on the probability of seeing "Demetrius" again.
I don't know why, but this was my favorite story in this book. It so cuteand I love how Dev wore blue for an entire month so that Sam would recognize him .

Blythe and Philip are interviewing to go to Mars. Their last test is a 24-hour long residence in an isolation chamber.
I liked how they both pushed each other to be braver and better.I was sad they got split up too.

June and Martha are on a reality TV show competing for a date with the star, Dylan.
This was really cliche, and I didn't really like the plot of reality TV show stuff.

Emma works at a restaurant and Sean eats there. One day, Sean asks her out, reminding her of lost opportunities.
I really didn't see any spark between the characters. I also would've liked more background information because I felt like nothing was fully developed.
Department of Dead Love by Nicola Yoon

Thomas and Samantha have just broken up, and Thomas wants a Do Over. He heads to the Department of Dead Love, Relationship Autopsy where he meets Gabby.
I really liked the originality of the Departments of Dead Love, Unrequited Love, Young Love, etc. I personally didn't see the connection between Thomas and Gabby.

Juliet has escaped, she is free. Free to love Adam, free from Warner, free from the reestablishment.
I thought this book was less plot-driven, mainly the preparation and exploration of Omega Point and the development of relationships between certain characters were explored. I actually really liked this book, and I think it was better than the first. I'm glad I decided to continue since I was hesitant after finishing Shatter Me (Destroy Me really pushed me to continue). I will definitely read the next books and the novellas.
I am loving the relationship between Juliette and Warner. I thought Juliette and Adam were kind of vanilla and bland, so it was enjoyable to have Warner around. I also liked the contrast between Warner and Adamthrough their gifts , it makes it even more apparent that they are really different.
The development of Juliette and Warner's relationship was far better than that of Juliette and Adam's. There was no "I've (secretly) loved you for so many years" type of stuff or anything that made the relationship too shiny and perfect. I love a flawed romance and this delivered.
Again, Warner and Kenji are the stars of this book. I occasionally felt frustrated with Juliette and Adam and the things they did, so Warner and Kenji were a breath of fresh air.
I finished this book in two sittings in one day, mainly because I wanted to keep reading until Warner showed up in the plot (which is nearly halfway through the book, excluding the appearance that was detailed in Destroy Me). That's why this book is a 5 out of 5 for readability, it was so easy to get through and I actively craved continuing this book.

One New York City summer, a post office, and two boys. After a charming meet cute at the post office, Ben and Arthur find themselves thinking about each other. Only problem is, they don't know much about each other or how to get in contact with the other. As a desperate attempt reunites them, can they survive life after the meet cute?
This was a long book, and I didn't think it needed to be this long. It was really drawn out, and even though it needed to be this way for the ending to play out as it did, it was still too long.
I also didn't particularly like the writing style. There was a lot of describing of everyday tasks and actions that made it boring. I had to skim some of the paragraphs due to this. I also personally didn't enjoy the fan culture in this, like the Hamilton, Sims, or Wattpad/fan-fiction stuff.
I did like the end. The fact that they didn't end up together was actually really nice. I liked how they just became really great friends. It made this story feel a lot more realistic and grounded.

Book love details the feelings, experiences, and thoughts of book lovers everywhere.
This book was really easy to get through (probably because it was a graphic novel). It’s nothing really special though. I’m only recommending it because it is a (really) quick read and because it has some great drawings.

Percy is back at Camp Half-Blood, but this time, the magical borders around the camp has been poisoned and weakened. As lives are put in danger, another quest is started to find the cure.
I picked this book up and I could not stop. There is a reason this is one of my favorite series. The book was incredibly easy to get through and equally enjoyable.
I love how Riordan has tied Greek mythology to real-life things and events. I often find it difficult to express why I love some books, but just know that this is one of my favorites.

Summary:
Pepper and Jack both help with their family's business and their Twitter. As a Twitter war emerges between them, they get closer and closer.
What I Liked:
I loved the romance. It was cute, realistic, and not too fast.
The ending with the forbidden-ish romance was great.
I loved the happy ending.
What I Didn't Like:
WHY DID A HUGE, CORPORATE BUSINESS ONLY HAVE ONE PERSON IN CHARGE OF SOCIAL MEDIA? AND WHY WAS IT NECESSARY FOR PEPPER TO HELP THAT ONE PERSON? It makes sense why Jack was in charge of his family's business Twitter, but not for Pepper to be in charge of hers. Her mother isn't stupid, so why would she do that?
Overall:
Not gonna lie, I like it when authors aren't afraid of making ending ambiguous or unconventionally happy. However, the happy ending in this book was likable, a little cliche, but good nonetheless.

Omega Point has fallen, but the resistance lives. As the deaths of the rebels are fresh in her head, Juliette finds herself with a desire to take down the Reestablishment. With the help of Warner, Juliette finally starts mastering her own life.
I absolutely loved this book. I devoured it while at school and reread certain bits once I got home.
I loved Warner and Juliette's relationship in this one, as well as the growth of friendship between Kenji and Juliette. (Can you tell who are my favorite characters?) Both of these relationships were sweet in their own ways.
I am very much not a plot-reader and more of a relationship-reader. This is why I find rating plots more difficult, mainly because my standards are pretty low. I thought the plot was okay, maybe the ending with Anderson was a bit rushed, but otherwise fine. The plot didn't blow me away or was completely original, that's why it got a 4. I do understand being 100% original is very difficult, but blowing me away is much easier to do, and this one didn't do it.
I understand that this was originally just a trilogy, and then another trilogy with the same cast was released 4 years later, totaling 6 books and 4 novellas. I liked the way this trilogy ended, so it might take me a while to read the next few books, but I do know that I will most likely continue this series.

Milk and Honey takes the reader on a trip through abuse, love, heartbreak, and recovery through poetry and prose.
This book was an incredibly easy read. I originally thought this book was more lighthearted, but I am glad I was wrong.
I didn't give this book 4 stars because I feel like it was trying too hard to have a good message. It really reinforces the idea of loving yourself and prioritizing the good things.
I personally liked the formatting, but I can see how it might be odd, weird, or unnecessary for others.
Even though there is a plot (kind of), I gave it a 3 because there aren't really any details and it focuses more on a message rather than the events. It's not bad, but it's not great.

Adam lost her, Juliette. Heartbroken and preparing for war, Adam is dazed and confused over what is happening, but he is desperate to fix everything.
I'm not recommending this book because it isn't necessary and doesn't add to the overall plot.
Adam's perspective was similar to Warner's in that, it simply explored their feelings towards Juliette some more and details the events between books 2 and 3.
The plot rating is 3, not because it was bad, but because there really wasn't one (like a novella should be).
I really couldn't stop reading this book/novella. The end of this novel really brings the tension and makes me want to continue this series.

Juliet's been writing letters to her mother for years, and even after her death, she continues. She knows her mother will never reply, but when a mysterious stranger writes back to her, Juliet finds herself opening up to a stranger.
The moment I heard a booktuber mention the plot of this book, I knew I had to read this book. And I am so glad I did. This book is so good.
I could've read this book in one sitting, but I had to make breakfast (damn my human body for needing sustenance). This book was so enjoyable to finish and I really liked the writing style (emails and multiple perspectives).
The idea of two semi-strangers talking to each other isn't original, but I personally didn't see any flaws that would make the plot rating a 4. The relationship between Declan and Juliet was incredibly enjoyable and I really liked their dynamic.
I know there is a second/companion book that focuses on Rev, and since I know Declan and Juliet are going to be in the book, I will probably read the next book pretty soon.
