Actually 4.5/5 stars.

Strong plot and awesome characters but very anticlimactic because the ending was spoiled for me. While it was my own fault, I had to lower my rating because the ending didn't have the surprise factor it was likely intended to have.

I LOVED THIS BOOK. It was absolutely amazing, from cover to cover, and I'm sad to see the series end. Anna matured a lot, and was an awesome lead. And Kaidan… just WOW! I love him so much, and he's one of my all-time favorite male characters, and I love him and Anna together. They're such a cute couple and they go so well together. Also, the ending! Omg, it was so sweet and adorable and I just couldn't handle it!! I was so sad about Marna and Patti, and for Anna and everyone else, for having to cope with that. But everyone got a happy ending, and I'm unbelievably happy about that! I really don't know where I'm going with this, but what I'm trying to say is that I adored this book. It was just perfect, a great last book, and I absolutely can't wait for Sweet Temptation!!!!!

Edit: Also, the romance in this book is just so good!! Wendy does extremely well writing romantic scenes and keeping them age-appropriate. I enjoyed that a lot, just like everything else in the book! :D

My mind is blown. I need Ruin and Rising asap! My only problem with this book was Mal's character development.
