Oh how I loved this! This book is so adorable and sweet with some fun and quirky characters and enough heart to make yours feel like its going to burst out of your chest.

A standard billionaire alphahole romance

This book is woke and feminist and unexpected and fucking wonderful. Every time I thought I knew what was going to happen....it didn't. I swear, I had a feeling I knew who was going to end up with Bea but that road did not go the direction I thought it would. I fucking loved this read.

The addition of the podcasts and chats and articles was so freaking good. It brought some fun and levity and the podcasts were *chefs kiss* delightfully and ridiculously spot on.

I've never read a book by Kate Stayman-London before, but if this is what she puts out please count me in for a whole helluva lot more. Hot damn, this was fun.

And PS - I haven't watched an episode of Bachelor/Bachelorette in 15 years. That show icks me out so much and I still effing loved this book because it looks directly at the ick factor and slaps it in its big, icky, dramatic, showboaty face. And I AM HERE FOR IT.

I'm too dumb for half of this book, but the TENSION was enough to keep me going. Once they finally slow burned into a spark I about perished from the heat.

I know we all have various thoughts on what constitutes what spice levels, but let me just say that this is absolutely NOT the spiciest book I've ever read but boy will it do.

I will absolutely keep reading these books. I loved the steam and was blown away at how much I loved a romance novel with a focus on the men. The writing did feel a little less polished and meaty (I literally can't think of another way to explain it right now), but the premise and storylines easily sucked me in and has me wanting to come back for more.

As the days grow shorter and the leaves start to fall, I was eager to dive into a book that promised a perfect seasonal read. Unfortunately, this one missed the mark for me, falling into a few too many pitfalls that left me cringing rather than enchanted.

From the synopsis, I expected a cozy fall romance with a bit of drama, but what I got was a story overloaded with toxic masculinity and an overwhelming dose of instalove. Normally, I'm a fan of the brother's best friend trope, and I can even enjoy an "alphahole" character now and then. However, this book took those elements and turned them up to a level that I found hard to stomach. I thought about DNFing this book so many times.

The portrayal of the brother and his behavior was a major sticking point. The toxic masculinity was so pervasive that it felt like it was being hammered into the narrative, and the fact that the family was seemingly okay with it made the situation even harder to digest.

While it wasn't my taste, it wasn't necessarily a bad book—it just didn't work for me.

I should learn to not put off writing reviews because then its a week later and I don't remember a single thing about this book........

I read this a week ago and when I saw the title I couldn't remember anything about it. Had to read the synopsis again....
