This was adorable. If you're looking for a sweet novella, grab this one!

Honestly, I'm never really expecting anything outside of just "that was kinda fun" from a Lauren Blakely book and this delivered that.

Spicy and fun

This book felt like the entire plot idea was "how many tropes can we fit into one single book". I never connected with the characters and everytime something arose that I thought would cause some tension it just was immediately resolved. There was not enough passion or development.

I thought I was keeping it together, and then I read the author's note at the end and I'm now blubbering. Ashley Poston writes so beautifully, and while I didn't fall for this book quite as much as I did the Dead Romantics, I still could not put it down and this book will stick with me.

Low angst, fun, and spicy.

This book basically takes the story of Taylor Swift and turns it into a spicy book.

A good reminder to myself that I just feel far too old to read new adult smut. I was a college kid once and as much as I loved it, I am now almost 40 and reading about their antics feels far too juvenile these days. Its fun, its fine, but they also annoy me because I'm old and cantankerous now.
