This is more found family than strictly romance, but it was a sweet read.

The only thing I can really complain about with this book is the daddy kink that came outta nowhere. Otherwise, there are so many spicy tropes thrown in here it was a romping good time.

The end flies at you real fast, but it's a sweet second-chance love story.

I mean, its fine. I'm going to keep reading because I'm a tad too invested, but I'm also not super happy about it?

There's a two year time jump and then the book just ends. I do not understand why books like this are split into parts like this and I kinda can't stand it.

Literally started listening to these books for Joe Arden and that was barely worth it.

I did not read the first book in this series and I just felt lost for so much of the time. There's so many characters and so many storylines and my distracted brain was having a really hard time keeping up. This book is also significantly less spicy than every other Pippa Grant book I've read.

Just a perfect angsty, billionaire, grumpy/sunshine read.

The spice in this series is just a smidge past fade to black. I always prefer more spice than that, but I realize that's not what everyone wants. I was feeling sad/ anxiety feels and this book was like a nice warm hug to get me through. The series itself was just a quirky delight.

I keep trying to make fantasy my thing, but it just isn't....
