Okay, I did genuinely enjoy this but how did no one warn me that this is a fade-to-black romance? I listened to the audiobook while at work and was digging it so hard that I contemplated working late to keep going. The fade-to-black surprised me enough to douse a bit of water on the steamy fire that was building. In the end, I still really like the book and I realize many people prefer these type of romance novels I just prefer to know what I'm getting ahead of time.
A fun quick read, and how hot is that FMC on the cover! It started out so different and fun, but I sorta lost it along the way.
A spicy gay baseball romance. It is the second part of their story, so definitely read the first book! I enjoy these two characters and, of course, I'm in love with these two male narrators. I'll listen to them read the phone book.
I had a 5-hour car trip and read this book for the entirety of the drive. It was a quick, easy read even though it hits a bit on some hard topics.
I was hooked by these characters and their story! I couldn't put this book down, and I'll definitely pick up the next in the series!
If there's one thing I know, it's that Amy Daws writes some damn good spice.
"I'm done pretending I'm not obsessed with everything about you."
*SCREAMING* I'm obsessed with Max.
Re-read and still loving the absolute crap out of Max and the world Amy Daws has created.

This was a re-read because its impossible for me to read an Emily Henry book only once.
A saucy, quick read. It's a book I won't read again but also had no glaring issues with. It was just okay enough to sustain my interest and spicy enough to keep me reading.
You've Got Mail is my favorite movie, so I will eat up every version and retelling that I can find. This F/F retelling is sweet and showcases its own love of the movie within the pages. I squealed when it was revealed that the dog's name is Brinkley! There's enough difference within the pages to hold the attention of others who may not share my obsession. I will absolutely return for the second in the series!
