This book is heavy and sad, but also so beautful. Both characters have so much to work through and they figure out how to do it together. I was entralled by them and their connection. Amy Daws has a wonderful way of giving us love, depth, and spice. I have yet to be let down by her.

The start of a series that I am going to just fly through, I can already tell! The Harris Brothers have been recommended to me on numerous occasions and now I know why. It's a wonderful mix of plot and spicy. Also, I love a series where we get to hang out with each of the characters in a book. This will be fun!

Belle and Tanner are a little more wild than my average read and it made them a blast to read. They are both just full of passion and heart and spice! As always, an Amy Daws book gets a W from me!

This is only the second historical fiction book that I have completed. I want this genre to be for me, but I struggle to get into it. I did really enjoy the main character of this book. She was flawed and real and funny and the banter that came from her mouth had me giggling often. I would concur that the description of Bridgerton meets Gossip Girl very much fits!

This book was just okay. I'm not sad that I read it, but I never connected with the characters and my heart didn't go all aflutter. As with other books by Elle Kennedy, you can expect spicy so if you're in the mood for that this book will deliver.

Am I now obsessed with Taylor Jenkins Reid?.... Yes, yes I am. I will continue working through her back catalog because DAMN this woman can WRITE. I, like many others, ended up frantically googling to see if this was a real band and real people. TJR writes with such realism that you can't help but become emotionally attached to each character.

Can't go wrong with an Amy Daws book! I haven't been reading the synopsis or reviews for her books, I just pick up the next one and go! So, I was surprised
Spoiler when the pregnancy was revealed. I'm glad that I didn't find out ahead of time because I usually feel annoyed going into a pregnancy book. They just aren't my jam. But this didn't take over the entire book and when Booker worked through all his emotional stuff, I understood why the pregnancy trope was used here. I support Amy Daws using this trope because she's done it twice (that I'm aware of) and I didn't hate it either time.

I will forever and ever love Gareth Harris. Holy hot damn, this man is FIRE. I currently cannot think thoughts that are not downright filthy. #sorrynotsorry

Just read it again and I am still in love with Gareth. The way my entire body listens to every word of this audiobook is truly unhinged. I know that everyone raves about Amy Daws' Blindsided, but this book takes the top spot for me. I cannot handle how much I freaking love Gareth. However, I had forgotten just how on the cliff you are at the end of this book and IMMEDIATELY ran to the next in the series -- immediately. If you read Surrender, have Dominate at the ready.

Not quite as downright amazing as Surrender, but still a hefty 4.5 stars out of me. I freaking love Gareth and Sloan.
