Erin Mallon is one of my favorite narrators and so I listened to the audible of this book. She's always a delight to listen to and so I enjoyed my time with the book. I love the series focusing on smart scientific females, but this wasn't the strongest book I've ever read. However, you can definitely sign me up to listen to the remaining books in the series.
Loved the spice factor of this book, but the plot felt barely there and the book wrapped up way too quickly.
It's official. I am completely and utterly in love. I would read a grocery list if you told me Abby Jimenez wrote it. She is phenomenal and this book is a masterpiece.
I was brought to literal tears by this book. To see so explicitly that you are not alone in your feelings, and that you have the ability to work through them is just amazing. This book was the beginning of my therapy journey.
There was some fun and there was some steam. I enjoyed the read, but I'm not about to shout about it from the rooftops. Feeling very neutral about it.
I liked this enough to read it twice, but I honestly do not understand the full obsession that others have with this book. I do have to admit this book redeemed the elevator scene trope for me, though...
