Lauren and Ryan feel like real people to me. I know them and I feel as if I've felt their feelings. This book had me thinking about and appreciating my own marriage. It was part self-help and part romance novel. Its a very different book than the standard HEA, spicy romance novels I normally read but I'm so glad I read it.

“Just because you can live without someone, doesn’t mean you want to.”

I just feel very "meh" about this book.

I loved that this book gave us a truly feminist male MC and a female MC that wasn't stick thin, however I did think a bit of that feminism was full on explained to us in the pages and I'd prefer that actions speak for themselves. Still a good read!

Honestly, I listened to this series solely because of Erin Mallon and Teddy Hamilton and stayed for the spice. Not my most favorite book series ever (there's a bit of toxic masculinity in here) but they were great reads if you're looking for spice.

This was steamier and more emotionally charged than I was expecting. Normally I hate a surprise pregnancy trope but for some reason, I was here for this one.

Tessa Bailey continues to be a queen. I enjoyed this book and flew through it so fast. What I appreciated most about the book and characters was their level of communication. Sometimes characters have a huge obstacle just because they don't communicate well and this was not the case here. It was a sweet read.

Woo! This is a spicy meatball, and I am HERE FOR IT. Also, I listened to the audiobook version of this and it was TEDDY HAMILTON and JACOB MORGAN. NEED I SAY MORE!?! I would listen to the two of them read the ingredients on my children's cereal box. Get it. Listen to it. Thank me later.

** I just did a re-read of this and I do need to point out that there is some bi-erasure and homophobia in the book. I didn't remember the toxic masculinity of the book, but I did remember the spice. I still loved the book and it was fun to re-read but as a more seasoned reader now I'd probably drop it a half star to 3.5

TW: rape, abuse, parental death

I listened to this, and I did not love the female narrator but the book was still worth it. I enjoyed the mixture of heavy topics and fun, flirty times. Its been awhile since I read a book where all the characters were so young (20). I do prefer older MCs.

“You’re no prude. You have a sexy tongue and you know how to use it.”

I didn't connect with Logan and Grace as much as I have with the other books, but it was still a fun steamy read!

“I’ve been thinking about how I didn’t make you come last time and how badly I want to change that.”

I love a great steamy romance that goes bold with its plot! It was very sex-positive and was steamier than I was anticipating. I truly enjoyed it and will continue to recommend it over and over!
