An absolute delight to listen to! There is zero spice, but it is syrupy sweet and I wanted to squeal with just pure joy at this story. Will listen again!

This was made specifically as an audiobook and the extra production value was a fun surprise. This is a quick and adorable listen. I truly enjoyed it and would love more Kal and Vera!

Meh. This book was so short and everything so rushed that I never connected with characters, never understood their motives or hopes or any of the things that make me truly love a book. I kept having to rewind the audio because I was forgetting to listen. I think that I would have truly enjoyed the book if there was more character development. I love me a quirky grandma!

I listened to this on audible and loved it so damn much. I was practically cackling while listening. I wonder if you get as much joy out of it reading it without the accent because that was truly so much of my Wisconsinite joy. This will definitely go on my "I'm having a bad day and need a re-listen" list.

Penny Reid is always a solid choice when you're looking for a new book series to start. This book was a quick fun read and a great addition to the series.

My favorite of the Knitting in the City series

Erin Mallon is one of my favorite narrators and so I listened to the audible of this book. She's always a delight to listen to and so I enjoyed my time with the book. I love the series focusing on smart scientific females, but this wasn't the strongest book I've ever read. However, you can definitely sign me up to listen to the remaining books in the series.
