I read this many months ago. I remember it being spicy and enjoying the read....but that's literally it. Looking for a quick, fun read that won't emotionally rip your soul directly out of your butt?.... Read this.

I love it when book series collide and the characters get to meld together. I read Winston Brothers before reading Knitting in the City so I knew what this book would entail as far as their mother goes. This book is both beautiful and heart-wrenching.

I am shocked by how much I loved this book. Leading up to it, Cletus was definitely my least favorite brother. He felt too sneaky and odd and I was just unprepared to fall for him. I have since added the Cletus spin-off books to my TBR. More of him, please!

This book was my least favorite in the series, but I'm quite certain it is the fault of my deep dark book slump. I will re-read this because I love Talia Hibbert so much.

I will only tell people to read this book because it is necessary in understanding the rest of the books in this series. Reading this is worth it to get to the others, but I wasn't truly invested until we go under the mountain. I almost stopped reading, but a friend urged me to keep going. I'm glad I did, because A Court of Wings and Ruin and A Court of Silver Flames are fantastic.
