Do you know what I get for not reading reviews and synopsis? A MOTHER FREAKING CLIFFHANGER. Honestly, I didn't even love love love this book or anything but I hate a cliffhanger and now I need the next book and I have to wait 6 months. What fresh hell is this?

I got hooked on this book so dang fast. The writing really pulled me in! My one complaint is that I think some aspects of the story could have been cut to really flush it out and make the story move quicker. I don't think we needed the drama and tv aspects of the Lady Mustangs, but as this is the only book I've read in this series, I'm assuming that's setting up another book. Regardless, I loved it and I will read more by Alexa Martin.

Oh, I loved this. Ander is so quippy and sassy and I loved them so much. This is just a wonderful book with representation and joy and love.

Also - HARD REC on the audiobook here. The narrator was fantastic!

Fascinating and enjoyable

This book is full of young black love, and it was a gosh darn delight. I want to read so much more about each of these characters. I was pulled in immediately and read it quickly. I'm running off to my library now to put in a request for Whiteout by the same group of authors.

This book is just so beautiful and wonderful and raw and so full of heart and angst and growth and just read it, okay?

Simply adorable and I immediately requested book 2 and 3 from the library

These books are just exceptional. I've been reading them at the same time as my 10 year old, and while a lot of the stuff is above her grasp it's wonderful to have these books openly discussing issues teens face in such a non toxic way. I love them.

I FREAKING LOVED THIS. I don't even like reality tv, but I would have watched the CRAP out of their show.
