I really liked the plot and idea of this book, but the execution wasn't there for me. The story was interesting enough to keep me reading the entire book, but it felt overwritten and like they were trying too hard. There were too many characters and too many things going on and it got confusing for me because of it. Also, I live in Wisconsin and have my whole life and all the Green Bay references were overdone. They really did not want you to forget that this took place in Green Bay. It got eyerolly to me.
I honestly almost DNF'ed this book right out of the gate because I assumed it was going to be full of immature sorority girls and as an almost 40 year old woman I really struggle with college kids. However, I read some reviews and thankfully kept reading. I really enjoyed this book. I just love a grumpy/sunshine romance so much.
I liked this better than Beautiful Bastard. I was able to connect to these characters more and felt as if there was more plot to this story. A fun, light read but not the kind of story or characters that stick with me for ages. Nevertheless, I would totally recommend to others!
I liked this enough to read it twice, but I honestly do not understand the full obsession that others have with this book. I do have to admit this book redeemed the elevator scene trope for me, though...
I really enjoyed this one. Their relationship is sweet and low angst without a third act breakup. I read it in a day.

This was adorable. I read the physical version of Blackout and I did find it a bit hard to listen to this with all the changing characters but once I got into it, I really enjoyed it
This may not be an absolutely perfect book, but it was absolutely the perfect book for me at the moment. I desperately needed to feel seen and understood and this book gave me that. I often struggle with anxiety and depression and just feeling like I am too much for people. It was kind of refreshing to read about a character that felt like me. There were two relatively spicy scenes and they were fun to read. I love these characters. My complaints are actually mostly about the side characters. Brodie and Georgia and Liv and Mom and Dad all had a lot of random information given to us about them, but it felt like a strange mix of too much and not enough. I also wish there was more time for the love between Fletcher and Lucy to develop. It kinda went zero to 60. Otherwise, I loved it.
This book was an excellent start to my year. The narrators were perfect and will forever live at the top of my favorites (January LaVoy and Joe Arden). There was a great mix of spice and plot, with fun side characters and it wasn't full of traumas that left me wrecked. I really needed a great book like this.
I'm not big into the prince and princess thing with romance novels, but I enjoyed how this one had a bit of that and a bit of life outside the palace as well. I could feel the similarities/influence between this novel and the story of Prince Harry and Megan Markle, however it wasn't too over the top or in your face. The spice is nice, as well.
