The only downfall of these books is that I know very little about gods and goddesses and I keep getting so confused by all of the characters and their names. I'm sure it would be tons more interesting if I knew more, but still I keep coming back for more!
There were absolutely times when I wanted to just slap some sense into Christopher and he frustrated the ever-loving poo out of me...But in the end, he won me over. Also, he and I have some similarities in the perfectionist realm and perhaps that's why he triggered me a bit. ;) This series is a great read with some depth and spice but still not too heavy.
I was honestly getting frustrated with HOW OFTEN everyone was telling them to try dating each other. I like a more show not tell type thing, ya know? Like, lets make it a little less beating us over the heads with it.
Took me a bit to get into it, but I ended up enjoying it by the end! Looking forward to reading more from the cousins!
Really more mystery than Romance but I liked being in the Winston World again
I do keep trying to read princess books, but they are just NOT my jam. This is the second book I've read by Alyssa Cole and I have a hard time with her writing for some reason. I can't quite figure it out but I don't think our brains sync up the same way.
This book's main female character is bisexual and deals with some bi-erasure towards the beginning of the story. I appreciated learning about an experience that can be very real for some people, however when I saw the trigger warning I definitely expected much more of the story to include this aspect. It felt more like an overarching example of why Tiffany may react in certain ways and not a basis of the story. Just an FYI for future readers.
I enjoyed the level of spice (I'd rate it level 2 or 3 on the spicy scale) and appreciated the conversations and dialogue that Tiffany and Sam have in regards to their sexual relationship. Reading about these things may help others to see how beneficial and necessary the conversations can be without being awful or awkward.
This was a quick and easy read that I think anyone could appreciate. I just never truly lost myself in the book, nor connected to the characters in a deep and emotional way but sometimes we're just looking for a book exactly like this one.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This book series hooked me as a forever fan of Alisha Rai, and started my full-on obsession with reading smut. I will never be the same again and for that, I am eternally grateful.
