I mean... its erotica so I wasn't expecting something worthy of a pulitzer....

This would have been so much stronger without the weird "hey this is like a book" storyline 

The *Chestnut Springs* series by Elsie Silver is everything I want in a romance: strong, outspoken heroines learning their worth, deliciously grumpy (and slightly toxic—in the best way) heroes, and a cast of lovable side characters who feel like family. With the perfect mix of angst, banter, vulnerability, and swoon, each book wraps you in an emotionally satisfying hug and leaves you craving the next ride.  I read the entire series back to back because I just couldn't stop!

 This Used to Be Easier is a fun, easy read that kept me entertained in the moment, but didn’t leave much of a lasting impression. The setup is cute, the banter is light, and the story moves at a good pace—perfect for when you want something low-stakes and breezy. 

While I enjoyed the experience while I was in it, the characters and plot didn’t really stick with me afterward. It’s the kind of book that fills a reading slump or a quiet afternoon well, but likely won’t make your all-time favorites list. Fun, flirty, and ultimately a little forgettable. 

I went into *Three Simple Rules* expecting pure smut, and it delivers.  Yes, this book is unapologetically steamy from start to finish, but it also manages to sneak in just enough plot and character chemistry to keep things fun, interesting, and totally addictive.

The setup is bold, the tension is delicious, and the pacing makes it perfect for a quick spicy read that doesn’t feel flat or one-note. If you’re in the mood for something hot, fast, and just thoughtful enough to hook you between the heat, this one hits the spot. It knows exactly what it is and absolutely owns it—in the best way.
