Drivel. The main character is so annoying. She’s nearly 30 and still obsessing over something that happened as a 12 year old? Get a grip 

I put it down and never picked it back up. I wasn’t enjoying the writing style at all and it didn’t grab me

I didn’t like any of the characters so I had no motivation to continue reading it 

I just wasn't interested in picking it up

She said "home in" instead of "hone in"

The writing wasn't great, but the story wasn't moving fast enough for it to tolerate. 

The characters were just too cringy 

I found the author to be cringy. I also thought she made a lot of big claims without much to back it up. I thought she contradicted herself. Overall, I found this to be a laughably over the top attempt at a book about feminism and linguistic, but a failed attempted at best. 

I had no motivation to pick it up

The leading lady / narrator is insufferable
