What a remarkable cute story. I really like Don, the way it is written you just get him.
I really like this story. The caracterdevelopment is really well writen, so I like that a lot. I'm very curious to read [b:Zijn jaar|21758347|Zijn jaar (Just One Day, #2)|Gayle Forman|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1395923966s/21758347.jpg|17992883], maybe I will edit this review to 4 stars of the second book complements the first book really well. I'm not sure how this will turn out, exciting!
ok so I finished this book in one evenig, I just couldn't stop reading. At a certain point you expect the end, but it is in a good way. I really looked forward to it and that's why I kept on reading and reading. It has been a long time since that has happened, so that's why I give it 5*. The story is hood and nice and fun, but there is something special about this book and I can't tell you what it is. Just read it for yourself :)
OMG this book is amazing.
Can I rate this 6*? No? Hmm.
If you love [b:Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda|19547856|Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda|Becky Albertalli|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1402915678s/19547856.jpg|27679579], you should really read this! This is also about diversity, but about religion and race. The religion-thing is really well explained, which is really unique to this book. I love that extra about this book.
I've read this book because my local bookstore is organizing a YA evening (Yes how cool is that!) and this is one of the two books we are going to talk about (the other one is Simon, it is about diversity). I'm really grateful to my bookstore for picking this book. If they didn't, I probably wouldn't have read it and than I would have missed this wonderful book! Noooo!
I can't wait for the evening in my bookstore, I need to talk to people about this book and this perfect ending to this story. THE FEELS!
As you may have guessed, I highly recommend this book.

*EDIT* I've changed my rating from 4 to 5*, because I noticed how this book has stayed with me and how I recommend this to EVERYONE, even to a Dutch publisher hihi
Review:
I just HAD to finish this book. It is way cuter than I expected! And the plottwitst.. I did NOT saw that one coming XD It suprised me, and it made the book ever more beautiful. I really love it.
I placed this book in the 2016 reading challenge at challenge 31: a book with a title of three words. I did not knew, back then :) I like that. A lot.

I've started this book in january. I've put off reading for a long time, because I did not wanted this book to be over. But that is bullshit, I have all books writen by Zafon.. And suddenly, over summer, this book started to shout at me that it wanted to be finished, so I sat down with it.
9 months ago, I fell head over heels with this book in the first couple of pages. I borrowed my moms copy. I put it down after 20 pages or so to buy my own copy, and all his other books. The best buy I ever did.
The story is beautiful, and the writing is gorgeous. I've read lovely stories before, and I've seen beautiful writing, but this book has BOTH and it is almost to much for me to handle. I love this book with my whole heart and I still feel like this book deserves more than that.
Oh, and that ending. It is the most perfect ending a book can possibly have.
I have an all-time favorite book. *hugs the book*
This will be reread.

This book.
It crawls under your skin. It touches you in your heart and soul so deep, you find new depths. It nests itself there and is there to stay.
Every human being has to read this book. It teaches you life.
It teaches how one bad thought doesn't make you a bad person.
It teaches how there is no pure good and no pure evil.
It teaches you how to handle the guilt you feel when someone close to you dies.
This book is more intense than I thought a book could be, but it is amazing.
Thanks for recommending this to me Evelyn! I owe you one.

Edit at the bottom I've enjoyed this book because I love technological dystopians, but not 5* enjoyed. I almost DNF because I disliked the behavior of the main character so much, but I continued because this book is supposed to be so amazing. It is a bit overhyped, and [b:ZERO|20871473|ZERO|Marc Elsberg|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1392831945s/20871473.jpg|40209932] is severely underhyped.
I'm serious, if you like this book, go read that. The worldbuilding is much better, you really see and understand the dystopian part of it. In the beginning of The Cirle, the changed world is explained, but I don't completely grasp it, I don't see it. But if you still want to read this book, you should do but start with this one and follow up withboth books by [a:Marc Elsberg|5352000|Marc Elsberg|https://d.gr-assets.com/authors/1362247978p2/5352000.jpg] :)
That, and the behavior of the main character, are my reasons for not rating this book 5 stars. The forth, which makes it above average, is for the subject and the technological dystopian, because I love this genre and you don't see it very often, especially this hyped. I do like it that the company feels like Facebook/Apple/Google on steroids, this makes it quite realistic for the future, which is of course very scary.. But overall I'm not blown away by this book.
Edit: So, I was like 4* becasue 3 is average and this subject is above average.. but I changed my mind. I shouldn't rate a book this high because of the subject, when it is poorly written, and that is how I feel about this book. It feels like a 2* book, o I should rate it 2* instead of giving it to much credit for the choice of subject.

I love this book! It is about that you cannot change who you are deep down inside. This book is awesome, it is cool, and it is touching and heartbreaking and amazing.
