Torn between 2 or 3 stars. 

Torn between 2 and 3 stars. Maybe my expectations are skewing my rating but I thought this book was going to be more paranormal in nature. I was super intrigued in the beginning with the seance but then it started to fall flat for me. I didn’t care for any of the characters. I found them all decently unlikeable and wasn’t too attached to the plot line. I think again, this might have to do with me expecting the story to be more paranormal than it ended up being. 

I enjoyed the writing and what I did appreciate a lot was the character development with Julian.
