I can't say this book did much for me. There were good parts but nothing that made it special to me. I didn't really connect to the characters either but it was still a decent read.

This book was amazing. I always love reading about the Elite's powers an this book added some wonderful characters. Magiano is overall one of my favorites along with Adelina. Adelina and Magiano were so well developed, extremely interesting, and hey both have amazing powers. I love the two of them together. Magiano's personality entertains me so easily and I love reading about him. Adelina's powers have grown so dark that she is almost becoming an antagonist instead. The whispers in her head seem like a character on their own with how real they have become to her. This book was so exciting and packed with action that there never seems to be a dull moment. I can't wait for the third book.. I need to know what happens next.
