This book was extremely hard for me to get invested in for the first half of the story. It was slow and almost uninteresting.. also confusing as I couldn't figure out the point of the book yet. Towards the middle it started to get more interesting and I could find its purpose. Even though it was interesting, I found it incredibly easy to figure out the ending on the story. I was able to figure out the culprit and the reason for this happening.
Although it was predictable for me, I did enjoy it. I liked seeing the changes in Rachel and how she grew as a person. She became more steady and self-confident in her abilities. The second half of the book did keep me intrigued and I felt inclined to finish. I also was motivated to find out if my theory was correct.
3/5 because of the slow beginning and predictability of the story, otherwise a good book.

I thought this was a great quick-read. It got my attention and I enjoyed reading it. There's a lot that you don't know so it was compelling to finish in an effort to gain more insight. I'll be happy to pick up the next book.
