"For snacks?"

I love the lovelight series, that is no secret. I adore all of these characters and these books. I want to live on lovelight farms. This was already established.

This. Book.
This book was everything. I never knew I could love two characters so much. The amount of time I teared up, the amount of times I actually laughed out loud (that is HARD to do in a book for me, trust me).
I wanted to wrap Charlie and Nova up in one of those blanket burritos that Nova likes and just hold them close to my heart forever.

i loved this. Charlie and Nova's stories, their hopes, their fears and insecurities, are such a mirror to my own. And they made me feel like maybe I could do it too.

So this book definitely felt like a middle book in that it was a lot of set up for the next, however I did find myself understanding the world much better than when I was reading book 1. So much makes sense!!

Also, WHY IM SO SAD.

And also.. just.. goosebumps. Okay I can't wait to finish this series.

My first time reading truly dark romance! It toed the line for me in terms of some triggers but it was really good! I was surprised I enjoyed it as much as I did! And the actual plot and story is fantastic.
MASSIVE CLIFFHANGER ALERT.

Thank you to R&R Tours and Jessi Elliot for an e-arc in exchange for an honest review!

I enjoyed this! It was a fast read that never dragged and kept me reading to see what was happening next!
The strongest bit for me was Xander. He was cute and smooth and hot and a mystery, definitely fun to read and I loved the fact that we got both POVs in this story.
I really enjoyed Cami too. She was strong even when she was scared and I love that kind of vulnerability in a character.

I had a few small issues with the overall pacing of the plot. I felt that they got together too quickly and then, of course, the big reveal came rather fast, putting the romance on hold, which made me sad because I really loved the dynamic they had together in those beginning stages.

The ending came up really fast too! I felt it came too fast (lol pun??) and I wish we had a bit more story before the end. But the cliffhanger is a cliffhanger and I'm gonna need book 2.

This was such a fun read! I picked it up and just devoured it in one sitting. Roman is so hot. Ugh. I want a Roman.
The main plot point of the story was the forbidden romance, which was wonderful and hot and I thought it was so much fun to read! The other plot points, while there, were more of an on the side thing. Any tension or big moments that did not have to do with the romance were resolved and cleared up very quickly to the point where I wasn't really worried about what would happen at all and didn't feel any suspense.
But that was fine, cuz I was here for Etta and Roman and their story itself made this book more than worth the read!
It's called dark but based on what I know about Dark romances and the fact that I don't like them, this didn't feel dark at all. Just hot!

Anyway, I enjoyed it and if you like romances with a bad boy that calls you good girl, you will love it!

Thank you to Sadie Sterling for an e-arc in exchange for an honest review!

This is such a solid debut and a wonderful start to a series!
Sadie managed to take some tropes we've seen before, enemies to lovers, warring courts, and put a unique spin on them.

At first, I wasn't sure about the pacing. The first couple of chapters took me a little bit to get into, but once we got into the meat of the story, I could not put it down! I love the tension between Cohrven and Allina and the budding trust and friendship that truly felt like it took some time to develop. I love enemies to lovers but I'm not a fan when it happens instantaneously, so this was done really well.

Allina also brought tears to my eyes. The betrayal she feels from her uncle and family, the desperate desire for belonging, I felt for her. What I appreciated was that Allina could cry and break down and then pick herself back up. She is a testament to allowing herself to feel that sadness yet continuing forward despite having been hurt, and I thought that was a great message.

I am really curious to see what will happen with the Osreth in the next book- I believe when he says he loves her as his own, I do. I wonder what will happen! I would like book 2 please. And for these two love birds to give in to their desires, thanks!

Seemed much slower than the first book. I love the fast pace of the first so it took me a little  bit to get into this one. Also it has been like 2 years since I read book 1 or something like that.
Stakes be high! And tension be higher! Such a good set up for book 3!
THE REVEAL.
