I absolutely loved this premise, triplet female serial killers?! AMAZING. Say no more, I’m all in. I was instantly pulled into this one and I know a huge part of the reason why I was so invested so quickly is because of how original the setup was. Of course none of this is plausible but who cares when you’re on such a wild ride? The book being set in Arizona was such a treat for me, I’ve only read a handful of books set in my home state so that was really fun. I love reading about unhinged characters and the fact that all three sisters are the very definition of unhinged was so fun. Sissy narrates the entire story and her voice was just so strong and well developed. Speaking of narration I listened to part of this one audio and Karissa Vacker is queen. Grab this is you want a fast paced thriller that is wholly unique and wildly entertaining.

This was such a perfect start to a brand new series, I’m totally obsessed! It had SO many of my most favorite things, including a single parent with a cute kid and a boss/employee relationship. Lark is pure sunshine and Wyatt is super grouchy and seeing her melt his cold, black heart brought me so much joy. There’s also some close proximity as they’re neighbors, so basically everything I love in one book 😍These two were so so cute together and I loved how protective he was of her. But they were not only adorable and sweet they were so damn hot too. Wyatt has the filthiest mouth and their chemistry was so good, seriously such good steamy moments. Small town romance will always have my heart but I’m not sure I’ve ever read a series with as quirky as a town as Outtatowner. The town has a ridiculous rivalry between two founding families, the Sullivan’s and the Kings and the only thing more ridiculous than the residents shenanigans is the nicknames everyone in town has. Swear to god some of these peoples names made me cackle, Bowlegs is a great one to give you an idea 😂 Clearly I freaking loved this one and cannot even wait for book two!!

Rogue

I was SO excited to be back in the world of Sandover Prep, especially after that cliffhanger in the first book, Misfit. The drama in this series is next level entertaining. This was just as addictive as the first book, I’m so invested in these characters lives. Their juicy secrets and dramatic behavior doesn’t hurt either 😉 I said the last book gave me Gossip Girl vibes and this was still true here, just add in some Pretty Little Liars to the mix as there’s some mysteries to solve too. If you like binge worthy, scandalous books try this series it’s so so much fun and I need the third book ASAP, because again that last chapter had me 😮

This was one of those reads that I know I enjoyed more because of the format I chose. The audio production was incredible, it was so engaging and well produced. It was pretty fast paced and I’m always interested when there’s a cold case involved. It wasn’t super twisty but there were a few surprises along the way. I would say 3.5 or so for story but 5 for narration so I’ll go with ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Man this was such a fun one, there was something really unique about the way it all unfolded. The Williams family is together to bury their beloved Gran but she isn’t the only body being buried that weekend. You don’t know who else has died until the very end and this really kept the suspense building for me. There are several viewpoints as you hear from the three Williams sisters as well as their sister in law and all I know is you shouldn’t mess with a Southern woman! These characters were witty and their southern saying cracked me up, mix that with unethical and morally gray characters and I was all in.
