I’m constantly searching for the perfect rom com and somehow this author always nails it. I was texting friends throughout this raving about how good the banter between Hallie and Jack was and I can’t even really explain how just how freaking good it is. The wit, the humor, the sniping back and forth with each other was just utter perfection. On top of all of that goodness you also get a bunch of fun tropes. These two go from a one night stand to friends to lovers to secret pining to fake dating to only one bed and if that sounds like too much it’s not it’s everything! Their relationship felt so believable from the start and their chemistry was off the charts. I may have even liked this just a teeny bit more than Mr. Wrong Number and I loved that one too. A must read for romance fans!

If you’re looking for your next bookclub pick or just a really thought provoking and intelligent read this one would be such a great choice.

I was immediately invested in this one, it opens with such a strong prologue and the pacing was just so spot on the entire time. You know those special books that you can’t stop thinking about when you’re not reading them? I had that experience here, every time I had to set this one down I found my mind wandering and thinking about what Anna or Sam or Jess would do next. The author did such an incredible job of capturing motherhood in its various stages and iterations but she also captured the very essence of womanhood so well too. She examines all this and more through the lens of the tech world and explores how women are overlooked and cast aside in the industry. The ending was so satisfying and I just loved how it all tied together. Also, how about that title? SO good. Highly recommended.

I love this series so damn much! Each book has captivated me in some way and I just adore the authors style. I thought this was the sexiest of the series and maybe that’s because Carla and Eamon hook up pretty quickly but I wasn’t mad about it I’m not usually a fan of insta love but it kind of worked for me here, I think that’s because I believed in the connection between the two instantly myself. If you like books with romance, adventure, a grief element and humor this was really good. The audio narration by Sarah Naughton was amazing too, she brought Carla’s energy and passion to life so perfectly!

This is the third and final book in a series and you really shouldn’t read it on its own. The way the author ties everything together is really wonderful and you would be missing out if you started here. But if you’re already caught up and ready for book three this was such an amazing and bittersweet ending to the trilogy. I love the blend of suspense, family drama and romance that this series has and that combination is just so satisfying for me. There was an emotional component here, Lucas really tugged on my heart and he may be my favorite of all the Carson siblings. Everything came full circle in the end and I found it to be poignant and so perfect and fitting. If you like books about dark family secrets with lots of drama and entertainment this series was so good!

This was pretty refreshing and truly hilarious, it had me actually laughing out loud at times so it definitely was a lot of fun. The audio production was phenomenal with excellent narration by Ines del Castillo and added sound effects that made it an immersive experience. I loved Ana’s growth and she was so witty and snarky. I struggled with her relationship with her best friend though, Gia really rubbed me the wrong way and the ending was pretty abrupt. I needed more from that conclusion but overall this was a cute listen.

This one was really cute and made for an enjoyable escape when I read it over a weekend. I love a story about a character returning to their hometown after being gone a long time and even better that Ellie is back in town for her ten year reunion. Ellie was a frustrating character, she’s pretty immature about many things, specifically emotional issues but she was fun to read about still. There were plenty of additional characters in the story too, her old classmates mostly, but I really enjoyed her friendship with her two work besties and would’ve like to see even more of them. In the end Ellie did so a little bit of growth which was nice and overall I did think this was a light, breezy read.

I am always drawn to stories about con artists and this one sounded so interesting. Following along with Shelby and Gibson as they’re simultaneously being scammed by Cammie was alternately fascinating and sad. Shelby is grieving over the loss of her wife and Gibson is mourning his divorce so both are struggling in a major way and while watching them both get conned made for an interesting read it was kind of depressing too. They both seemed like genuinely good people even if they were naive and too trusting. But this was still an engaging and fast paced listen and narrators Steve Campbell, Reena Dutt and Emma Galvin were all fantastic. The ending was a little too open for me but it dead feel like a realistic conclusion, I just wanted a tiny bit more closure. ⭐️⭐️⭐️💫

This was super cute and felt like such a mature romance without many of the same old same old problems and issues. Yes, Nick lies about being the same person Lily emailed with but the way he handled it was so much better than I’ve seen in other books. I loved seeing these two bookworms together and they built a strong connection as friends that made me feel like they’ll have such a stable future together. Lily’s sisters were such great side characters and there were some other amazing secondary characters as well. I liked her sisters so much I’m keeping my fingers crossed that this could be the beginning of a new series. I did a combination of print and audio and Keylor Leigh and Malik Rashad were both incredible. It was my first time listening to both of them and they were so excellent I’ll be looking up some of their other work!

This book has been everywhere and the hype finally got to me. I know y’all have seen plenty of reviews so I’ll just say that if you like grump and sunshine, workplace romance, enemies to lovers and billionaire romance this was pretty good. I was expecting an easy 5 star read based on the hype but I’m not mad about 4 stars either. I’ve also heard the other books in the series are better, so if you’ve read them let me know if that’s true?

In my constant new journey to find romantic suspense series I decided to grab this trilogy by Corinne Michaels. The first book follows Brielle whose brother is murdered but she suffered from a head injury and can’t remember anything that happened. I loved the blend of Spencer and Brielle’s relationship with trying to find out who murdered Isaac, it was the ideal balance for me. If you like small town, brothers best friend, suspense, angst, and age gap this is for you. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
