I’ve read quite a few books about influencers in general but this one was basically made for me, it’s about a group of book influencers who spent their free time recommending mysteries and thrillers, umm hello?! So a super cool concept that I was immediately into coupled with a great atmosphere that should’ve been cute and picturesque but was instead unsettling and creepy. It’s a page turner that read so fast I truly had a hard time convincing myself to put it down when I needed to sleep, there’s something about the authors style that begs you to read just a few more pages. And then repeat haha. I definitely didn’t see where this was headed at all and one of the main reveals got me really good. Overall another fast paced and twisty thrill ride from the author.

It was so nice to be back in the world the author has created, the Nina and Ollie cameos were everything!! 🥹 Jack and Raine were adorable and absolutely perfect for each other, I can’t tell you how well they complimented one another and also how sweet and tender they were together. The banter, the OCD and ADHD rep and the Irish setting made this one the best combination. The author never misses for me!

I haven’t read an angsty romance in quite awhile so I forgot how much I enjoy them when I’m in the right mood. This one was super emotional and had me feeling all the feelings, Miguel and Rebecca had so many obstacles in front of them and their journey was heartbreaking but also beautiful. I absolutely loved Rebecca, she deserved a HEA so desperately after putting herself last her entire life and Miguel was the perfect guy to take care of her and force her to take care of herself for once. This has all the small town vibes as well as a second chance romance with a side of football. If you like romances with so much heart and really well drawn characters this was really good!

If you’re in the mood for a super slow burn mystery this may be for you. Things start off very slowly and don’t pick up until the very end so the first seventy five percent or so felt a little too drawn out for me. It’s very detailed, lots of talk of parenting and kids and I’m not sure I needed quite so many details personally. I was intrigued by the group of mothers and felt like they were all shady and unreliable so that aspect definitely kept me reading. The ending reveals were definitely the strongest part for me but this one requires some patience to get to the good stuff.

Well this one was a total delight, I was actually surprised by how much I enjoyed it. I always love a story about a parallel universe and I liked the spin the author put on the concept. This was a well rounded romance with depth and heart, its friends to lovers and despite being magical realism it felt very grounded in reality. Pick this one up when you want a romance that feels different.
