I’ve had such good luck with debut authors lately, this was such a good read. The structure was unique, it’s Mandys wedding day and then it keeps flashing back to different times in her life and romantic relationships leaving you to guess who she will marry. I loved Mandy, she’s complicated and endearing and the whole thing was adorable and heartwarming. The narrators voice matched exactly to what I imagined and she great.

This series has been so much fun on audio and this was another great addition. Since this is book 4 it’s been so cute seeing couples from the previous books and these families are all so entertaining and funny. There was the perfect balance between sweet and spicy and Aiden Snow and Mia Madison were perfect as Zara and Gabriel

First things first, this is not a thriller. It’s a family drama with some suspenseful aspects but it is not a fast paced thriller. If you go into this one knowing that I think you will enjoy it much more than if you go in expecting it to a true thriller. I figured this out pretty early on, you can tell it’s a slow burn but a slow burn that’s 300 pages versus one that is 400 pages is a totally different experience for me and this one was on the shorter side so it worked for me. While Nora is looking into her father’s death it’s not so much of a mystery, it’s more of story of grief, love, loss, secrets and betrayals. For a lighter style suspense read I liked this one for what it was.

I don’t know about you but I’m so ready for some cooler temperatures, yes I’m wishing summer away but I’m so over the heat. If you are feeling like you’re ready for fall this was a delightful little seasonal read that I enjoyed. I wanted the feeling of a cozy fall in a quaint town and that’s exactly what I got. Things aren’t exactly perfect in Starr’s Fall though and I appreciated that it wasn’t exactly your typical small town romance, it still delivered in its own unique way. Laurie was the sweetest character with some sad trauma in her past and I really like the journey the author took her on. Her relationship with Joshua was a slow burn and this one is closed door so just a little kissing which made this one really sweet and tender. Definitely recommended if you want a cute romance, fun fall activities and a charming and quirky small town.

Breaking News: This is the authors best book!! It’s hard to even say that because all of her books are SO good and are some of my very favorites but there was just something really special about this one. From the moment Skylar and West met I was charmed and once you read how they first meet you’ll know that’s not super easy because it was kind of a mess lol. I liked the glimpse we saw of West in the first book but good lord this man is something else, I’m obsessed with him. There’s something about a single dad that’s also a cowboy 🥵 AND he is an amazing father so rip me. Skylar is so low when the book begins, she has no confidence or purpose and my heart ached for her. Seeing her blossom around West and his adorable kids, Oliver and Emmy was about the cutest thing ever, she found her people in them and man was it beautiful. Of course their banter was top tier because it’s Elsie, but the way they communicated was just so sweet and perfect too. If you’re an audiobook listener this is a must via that format because not only are Teddy Hamilton and Savannah Peachwood both amazing there are a few original songs included and performed by Alyssa Brigiotta and they were incredible and just brought the story to a whole new level. All the stars I loved it so so much
