Literally just WOW. Best book I've read in several months. You know a book is good when the readers actually love the main character. <somewhat spoilers/ allusions to spoilers> for the record, I am the biggest Selwyn stan. He is so funny and his characterization is amazing. I turned on Nick so fast concerning the shipping train. <over> I really look forward to the sequel and seeing how this world develops. The commentary of racism among other things is so phenomenal that I can't even describe it. What a gorgeous piece of literature. It's going to be a classic someday. 

     My first Murakami piece and what a wild ride. These stories were funny, heartbreaking, confusing, disgusting, and everything in between. I really loved them. 

Fun, is all I have to say. I enjoyed it.
