Okay so it took me two tries to read this. The first time I bailed out because I was bored right around the time they were married (30% in) and set it aside. But then I kept seeing TikTok clips of the book that looked so juicy and good that I decided to give it another shot and power through. 

It's not the best book by Shain Rose I've ever read, but it wasn't a bad book. Lots of mis (non)communication trope and lots of rough spicy scenes sprinkled throughout. I kept getting really frustrated with the characters, but *shrug* I powered through this time and finished in a day. 

Definitely not my cup of tea. 

So much 80s and awkward conversation...

This is a quick love story between a dragon shifter and a witch and it's super sweet with some spice at the end.

A non-magical person thrust into a magical world? Such a unique take on a contemporary fantasy story and I absolutely love this and can't wait to see it progress!!

Grumpy meets grumpy and I love it! There's a lot of eye rolling humor in it, but I love that both of them are growly and stubborn and slowly warm to each other....he definitely falls first

This is a change from the average omegaverse novels and I love how gritty and dark it was with SO many twists and turns and shocking revelations! 

This story is very dark and twisted and I was shocked at some parts, but loved it anyways. As far as dark and twisted romances go, this is a good one. Reminds me of a Hades and Persephone retelling but in a uniquely twisted way.
