The story is so good and full of twists and intrigue that it pains me to have to wait for the next installment! I loved it. The FMC is so very different than anything I have read that I adore her! And every single one of her quintet is different and watching them being both badass and bad at things is hilarious. 

This book is so action packed it gives you anxiety for the crew while you have the urge to speed read through to find out how it ends! Action, tense craziness and emotional scenes are so well written you get lost in the book, only to come out at the last page gasping for air. Seriously... It's gonna take me a hot second to process everything before I can jump into the next book. This one deserves all the accolades...all the stars...all the recs. 

I made it to chapter 5 and not only was it not engaging like I hoped, but it was written with choppy language the scenes were written more like a movie script than a book. And I felt nothing for the characters because things were mentioned but not expanded on in such a way as to make me care. Plus, we absolutely did not need to know what the college age daughter was wearing for a phone call. Blech! I'm DNFing at this point and not coming back to finish it. Just gives me the ick to continue reading

This book had an iron grip on my attention and I finished it in just a few hours. The writing sucks you in with action then gives you some emotional time and then back in the action. From multiple points of view we learn what happens when a fiery plane crash in the water turns to an underwater rescue of epic proportions. The action does not stop until right at the end...and the epilogue gives a good sense of closure.  I absolutely loved it
