I LOVED this book!! Misty is so empowering and you can really see how that helps Joe to grow. Miles was the most supportive partner and I loved when he started really getting into the sleuthing. Suspects, everywhere! Can’t wait for the next in this series. 

I love a locked room mystery, but add in a romcom and I’m weak! Maggie and Ethan are both complicated people and their backstories are revealed in bits which helped as they grow in their relationship. 
The setting of the English countryside at Christmas with a blizzard and no way out was perfection. It was very “Knives Out” with a bit of Murder on the Orient Express. Who knew that combo would be so good?

I loved the formatting of this story! The emails, connections through the donor website, and almost diary-like narration all made for a thrilling and creepy read. These people are disturbed and as unreliable as you can get and that makes this a delicious read.

This was a wild ride!! I loved that we got the story in bits and pieces and from each of the characters’ pov. It added so much to the story. I had an inkling to what was going on but wasn’t prepared for the twist! The narrators were perfect!! I really got a feel for the the characters through the narration and their intonations.

I love Jenny Slate. She’s so quirky and hilarious. This journey through becoming a mother felt so real. It’s been 21 years since I was last hosting a life form but I related as if it was yesterday. 
No one could ever narrate Jenny’s books besides Jenny. Her intonation and verbiage are what makes the audio.

I had high expectations for this one. It seemed like a great premise and I was itching for the pop punk band vibes. 
It didn’t quite live up to my expectations, though. I hated Valerie all through the book, maybe that’s what we were supposed to feel, but I felt bad for Caleb that he was in love with her. I wanted a little more from the other band members as well, I know it was a dual pov but I wish we had a little more with them. 
I’m sure many will enjoy this, I didn’t DNF but wasn’t sold. 

This was such a fabulous read!! I love an unreliable narrator and unhinged characters and this was filled with them. 
The audio was outstanding. The production and sound effects were stellar. I felt fully immersed in the story.
