The idea wasn't original, nor was the plot, but the general tone was comfortable. Not that it was particularly well-written, but I don't regret the time I spent reading it.

(Read for E10 book group.) The constant breaking of the fourth wall, hinting at backstory only to coyly change the subject with a "let's not talk about it" - I didn't particularly enjoy it.

Not too bad considering the potential to play the cringey "not like other girls" trope. Vivid characters, purposeful plot, some interesting ideas; the romance was decently written, too.

Incredibly, I found a character I love without relating to them. The love triangle could've been better executed, and I'm not sure
SpoilerFreddy's betrayal
was a necessary turn of events. A decent read overall, though.

Pretty meh, if I'm being honest. Avenging angels and love that will save or destroy the universe weren't enough, apparently, so the time paradox comes into play. However, there were certain sections that were pretty good.

The ideas and plot were promising, but the story felt poorly executed. The ending was too ambiguous - I thought the eyelash curler would've been a stronger cutoff.

Some insightful ideas and interesting themes, but the effectiveness was undermined by poor writing. I don't think the title was well-chosen; it gave away the reveal long before it happened.

Actually, this one wasn't too bad; the best of the series, so far. Consistent with everything this 'verse has presented so far, delightfully dramatic on its own. And
SpoilerCam redeemed!

Definitely a unique premise, at least until they left the tank and everything got all Matrix. Not sure what happened with Mi; that was weird. It fell just on this side of "I liked it."

Truthfully I didn't like any of the characters, least of all Rio. There wasn't any character development besides Danielle's, and the poor pacing and attempt at suspense failed to keep my interest.
