It's not often a long book keeps me so engaged that I don't get a little bored and either pick up something else for a while or start flicking forward through the pages. It's rare that a long book keeps me so engrossed that I start reading its sequel immediately.

I'm not sure I've ever read this before, although I read a lot of Agatha Christie as a teenager. So so good.

Much better than the other Jane Austen Project books I've read. I really love the original Northanger Abbey and moving the story to Edinburgh and the Borders works perfectly, as does Cat's vampire obsession. A bit of a weird twist at the end, but otherwise a very fun read.
