Simple and sweet Regency romance. Not up to Georgette Heyer standards but better than some.
Neither the hero nor the heroine are very deep or interesting, but the descriptions of the Season are fun and a little more down to earth than usual. Makes you wonder what it was really like. It's a relatively short book and good for a quick light read. More 3.5 stars than 4, but tipping towards 4 stars.
Good enough to try others in the series.

Loved this one. A gentle romance with a touch of history and mystery. As so often with Susanna Kearsley, it's 4.5 stars, but this one tips towards the 5 stars.
I really liked this. I've read a lot of the Dark Hunter books, so I know Nick's story from that point of view. But this is a whole new tale and it's going to be very interesting to see how it all works out.
I'm not sure how easy these would be to follow if you've never read any DH books, and I don't know what a teen would make of them, but well worth a read if you're a DH fan.
