I used to read my mum's Jean Plaidy books when I was a teenager, so this is the first one of hers I've read for about 30 years! Still just as good.

I'm really getting rather tired of Clary and Jace. Especially Jace and his arrogance. I still liked the general story and the world that Cassandra Clare has created, and I guess I'll read the (hopefully) last book in the series, but some of the other characters are just so much more interesting than amazing Jace and pathetic Clary.
