I liked it less than the last book. It really sunk in that I do not like the main character she's annoying and so is her love interest although I do like some of the side characters. Overall not my favorite additionally the author used a bunch of Gaelic words to name her characters after and in an interview completely miss pronounced them a butchered them. I don't speak the language but a bunch of people were upset that she thought it was okay to use someone else's language in her book and then butcher it. At least talk to someone that speaks the language if you want to use in your book.

This is honestly the best book I've read all year. It's also the shortest. This year I've needed more cozy reads and this is 100% cozy. It's a sci-fi book but more than anything it is a gift for the soul.

This book is amazing. I've never read something that truly took apart every bit of our societal norms and reworked them into how we can change the world with radical self love. This book understands the intersectionality of radical self love and undoing fatphobia and our societies hate towards different bodies.
