Very cute little read

I really enjoyed the first book in the series but this one was a bit of a disappointment and a struggle to get through. It seemed like it was missing the same drive as the last one. It felt like a book the author wrote because a publisher wanted it and not the author. 

Cool idea. Poorly executed. 

Don't read this book if polyamorous vampires aren't your thing or if you're looking for something written by a prude mormons. 
I loved this book. It is amazingly written. I absolutely love the way Butler wrote vampires(Ina). The ending felt unfinished, unfortunately the author passed away before she wrote a sequel. 

It took me a moment to adjust the authors writing style but I am glad I stuck with it, the book is fantastic and I look forward to reading the next one.

I was listening to it in audiobook form and couldn't stand the voice of the narrator. Nothing wrong with the book might try a physical copy someday.

I liked it less than the last book. It really sunk in that I do not like the main character she's annoying and so is her love interest although I do like some of the side characters. Overall not my favorite additionally the author used a bunch of Gaelic words to name her characters after and in an interview completely miss pronounced them a butchered them. I don't speak the language but a bunch of people were upset that she thought it was okay to use someone else's language in her book and then butcher it. At least talk to someone that speaks the language if you want to use in your book. 

This is honestly the best book I've read all year. It's also the shortest. This year I've needed more cozy reads and this is 100% cozy. It's a sci-fi book but more than anything it is a gift for the soul. 

Predictable. Good though.
