So great as always

Bonjour. Ce fut je pense ma meilleure lecture française du mois. J’ai pleuré et j’ai adoré. Mais vraiment. Tout le monde devrait lire ce livre 

A quick emotional and bit scary Orpheus and Eurydice retelling. It’s really good 

Une suite efficace qui montre que la lutte n’est jamais fini 

Un récit dur sur le harcèlement sexuel et moral  sur leurs conséquences sur les victimes

I loved it. A cute ennemies to lovers between a cheerleader and a film nerd. It’s cute, they’re the perfect couple and I loved how the author narrated the story. 

Maybe the best book of the month and a new confort read?

Un livre important au style pas come les autres. Un livre sur les luttes qui nous rappelle que nos droits n’ont jamais été donnés facilement. Un livre qui apprend beaucoup. 
Mais qui nous rappelle qu’il ne faut jamais arrêter de lutter. Encore moins aujourd’hui 

As a french person it’s not something we learn in school. And that’s sad. I learned about it in a tv show and reading a book about it was interesting (if I can say that…). Like why don’t we talk about it in France? It’s an important part of history. We learn about how great America is but not this… anyway. The « fantasy » side doesn’t take the seriousness away. 

It talks about generational trauma and family and heritage in one book
