I wasn’t aware Jhumpa Lahiri had a new book out; I picked this one up in the airport on my way back from LA last weekend. I just finished it today on my lunch break and I must say, it was one of her best I’ve read! Such a good book. I love her writing style, the intricacies of the way she makes you FEEL the interpersonal relationships of the characters in her stories. Must read.

I loved this book! The stories shocked me, made me laugh, and brought tears to my eyes. These stories taught me that maybe I, too, can be a travel writer someday! :)

This book was easy to read and entertaining. I laughed a few times. David Sedaris is a good, humorous writer with some insight to life. I enjoy reading his work and look forward to reading more of it.

I read this book in high school and enjoyed it :)

This book was ok. I kind of thought the authors tone was pedantic at times, and self-indulgent, but it was easy to read and entertaining. I didn’t want to be seen with it in public though (as I hate reading books everyone else is reading… and this is definitely one of those) but it was entertaining, which means a lot in my book. I didn’t learn a lot from the book, thought she was an overly-privileged woman who was kind of whiney.
