What I learned from this book: Sometimes it's not enough to force yourself to read once you've realized that the book is completely pointless. I did not like this book at all, I am reading it for a book club and I must say, I have not enjoyed reading it. There are some interesting parts, but for the most part it is long-winded and pointless and full of too much theological reference for me. I can do without the "god" bullshit, thanks.

I loved this book. Great stories and well written. Seemed like the stories were most likely auto-biographical which made me like them even more. Highly recommended.

This book was easy to read and entertaining. I was able to read it in about two days. The message was good, but more for a beginners audience; maybe more for common folk that aren't into spirituality. It was still entertaining to read, though, and I'd recommend it for an easy, light, quick read.

This book was excellent! Granted, it was very thick and there were sections where I lightly skimmed because they were boring to me, but overall this was a great book. Excellently written. The book was written with a poignant urgency that I felt strongly. Really made me think about the choices we make in life, and how these choices affect our happiness. Hits home even more the fact that I can not make decisions that make me feel trapped, because life is short, and it’s so important to live with NO CORRECTIONS.

While this book was outrageous and rather unbelievable, it was hilarious and entertaining. I kind of got tired of reading it once I got about 2/3 into it because there was so much ridiculous childish drama. Boy drama is just as dumb as girl drama, it seems, and I don’t like any drama, thanks. Otherwise the author is a great writer, very engaging, and his hilarious story is one that was entertaining to read.

It took a while for me to get into this book. I usually love Margaret Atwood's work but this one was harder to get into. When I finally got into it, I found it very slow-moving but it was such a thin book I decided to finish reading it anyway even though I wasn't that interested in it. It turned out to be pretty interesting though, and I'm glad I finished it. :)

This book was ok. Yes, just "ok." I have read a few of her other books (Virgin Blue and Girl With a Pearl Earring) and I was much more impressed with those. The writing in Burning Bright was sub-par and the storyline was lame, at best. I could have done without it, but since it was so easy to read I just pushed thru until the end. Should probably be classified as "young adult".

Margaret Atwood never ceases to amaze. She's a great writer and this book is no exception. A good story wonderfully told with some true historical background which I really loved.

I loved this book. A bunch of great wonderfully told stories. I always love this series, and this one was no different, it did not disappoint.
