I only got 60 pages into this and I don't know if I've ever been so angry reading a book. The main character is insufferable and the twist (which I looked up) makes it even worse. I'm glad I didn't waste any more time than I did.

I really liked parts of this but hated other parts including the ending. This was also very clearly written by a white man, mostly because of a few little lines that weren't that big of a deal, but still bothered me some. I really liked the first half, but everything went downhill from there. It was a really fast read, though that I was invested enough in to finish in one night.

I was surprised with how much I liked this. I've been struggling to find domestic thrillers that I actually like, but this one was really solid and I can't think of anything I would change about it. I maybe could have been a little more invested in the characters, but I still really liked reading about them and cared what happened to them. I thought the pacing and the twists were great. The writing didn't distract from the plot, which is ideal for a thriller like this (at least for me). I also appreciated that this didn't fall into some tropes that it really easily could have. Overall, I was really impressed and will definitely check out this author duo's other work.

This was adorable! I finally got emotionally invested while reading this part of the webcomic. I've caught up now and I can't wait to read more.
