I love this comic so much! I adore all the characters and rereading it always makes me smile. I also really appreciate that it's set in college, which not enough books are. I think that aspect makes it relateable to me as someone who isn't into hockey or sports in general.

I had kind of mixed feelings about this, but I think I ultimately enjoyed it. There were just a few things that I really didn't like. I felt that the climax was...well..anti-climactic and I didn't care for the way women are treated, especially Eowyn. I had problems with how women are treated for the whole series, though, so that wasn't unexpected. Most of that didn't bother me much and that doesn't affect my rating. There also just wasn't as much of the descriptions of nature that I liked in the first two books. I understand why, but it made the descriptive writing style more difficult to read for me. I did love how the characters develop, though, and I really loved the very ending of the book. I alos found that I was able to get through more of it at once than I did with Fellowship of the Ring, but I kept putting it down, reading something else, and picking it back up. Overall, it was good but it was probably my least favorite in the series.

I really enjoyed this! I think I liked it even better than A Princess in Theory. It did feel a little rushed at the end and there were a couple points where I found the characters' actions frustrating. The characters didn't affect my rating, though, because I appreciate how flawed they are and relate to them in some ways. I loved the way this book discussed boundaries and learning to give yourself more credit and accept love more easily.

This was adorable! I related to both main characters in different ways and I loved how this novella is able to be relatively drama free because of its length. I was still surprised by how emotionally invested I was, though!

I don't love some of the messaging of this, but I still really enjoy the atmosphere.

I didn't have as much emotional response to this as I did to Can't Escape Love, but I was invested enough to really enjoy this. I also think this is Alyssa Cole's best crafted book I've read so far with plot, pacing, writing, etc. I really loved the dynamic of this couple!

This was really interesting, but, much like the first book, I wanted more aliens. I did like what this book actually was better than the first book, though. I really liked all the concepts and plot, but the characters aren't memorable and there was one point where I did start to get bored. I did really like how it all came together in the end and I am always amazed with the ideas this author comes up with for how humanity would react to this situation. It was also interesting reading this during COVID-19 with the way society changes right away, but no one knows what the long term future will look like.

I really liked the first two books in this series, but this one just fell flat for me. I didn't believe the stakes because everything came too easy for the main characters. I also felt like the author tried to shove too much character development and plot reveals into the last 1/4 of the book. I was not impressed with the final reveal of what the axiom looked like, who the Benefactor was, etc. This book somehow made me less attached to these characters that I liked so much in the first two, making it so I didn't care about anything that was happening even if the stakes had been believable. Overall, I was disappointed in this one and I honestly would have rather the series just ended with the second one, even with the unanswered questions.
