Honestly, I almost did not finish this book. Somewhere about 15% in (kindle reader) I was ready to give up and thought the magic that Karen Marie Moning had weaved in Dublin in the first five books of this series was gone forever. But I really loved those first five books and I was driven to find out what happened to Dani.

And then somewhere around 30-40% my mind became blown!

It takes awhile to get into but when you are sunk into this book, you have no regrets until you get to that abrupt end that had me screaming out for more.

There are many unexpected twists, and revelations, along with new relationships and feisty verbal battles that will cause grammar nazis the world over to orgasm.

All in all I am elated i did not put this one down and kept pushing until it sunk its claws deep into my soul until I could do nothing but read to a surprising twisty end.

Wordy yes but well worth it.

This was like a 3.5 rather than a 3, but not quite a 4. Quick read, and a nice follow up to the previous entry in this series. You get enough closure from her trip to hell and some important plot points to the overall arc of the series are revealed.

Fun and interesting, I enjoyed the book even though some parts were a bit predictable, there were enough swerves and reveals to make it a worthwhile read especially if you have enjoyed the other Jessica McClain books.

Meaty. Mysteries to unravel, backstory to tell, and attacks that change people and how they see and think about life, all coming together in a story that pulled me in at the very start.
Great addition to the Chicagoland Vampires series, that answers the questions left before and gives us just enough lure to look forward to number 12.

Had a lot of fun reading it, missed the wolves though but hopefully they show up again soon.

Now I love this series but I did not like this book. A lil too obvious with the ending, kind of corny with the family feuding storyline, but the shifters did show up which is always welcome.

Honestly the writing was still good, I just found the storyline weak. You can miss this one and go straight into Dark Debt which is MUCH more engaging and compelling.

EXPLOSIVE!!! From the first page until the last, Faith Hunter gives the reader a fast paced emotional read that makes us fall in love again with Jane and everyone else in her 'family'.

If you are not yet sucked into the world of Jane Yellowrock you are missing some amazing writing and characters you would love to have a strong cuppa with every week.

Oh this book revealed some truths and showed us some sides of Bethany and Leo that were unexpected. Get it, read it, and you will enjoy it!
