A simple but fun conclusion to the Goldy Pond arc. The cast has become rather bloated, but the danger has grown too. Here's hoping the next few stories start to trim the fat.

A fantastic start to a new arc, with more lore dropped about the demons, the "Minerva" reveal, and a surprising new opponent to Emma's idealism. The reunion with Norman was heartwarming, and I'm not opposed to the direction they took with his character (from the very beginning he always relied on Emma for moral guidance. It makes sense he would transition into someone more ruthless without her influence), but I feel we missed out on a key story showing Norman's transition into the role of the new "Minerva" and of course, his escape from Lambda. That should ABSOLUTELY have had it's own arc and I'm shocked we didnt get it. I'm still enjoying this series, but as time goes on I'm seeing more of its flaws. Its rushing from point A to B, not taking the time to flesh out its myriad cast of characters or fully explore its setting. It's my understanding that this series ended a lot sooner than expected. Here's hoping we get some spin-off stories that can explore this world and characters further.

I'm surprisingly cool with the mystical aspects that were introduced here, I just wish they seeded throughout the story earlier (seeing the Gracefield kids' adventures in demon cities would have helped that a lot). The ticking time bomb of war and the Tifari really help raise the tension for what I can only imagine is the finale of the series.
