4.75 stars that have caused me to never want to play hide and seek again d seek again.

A very well written middle grade horror with just enough spookiness to make me question if it’s even appropriate for the group it’s written for.

The creep factor starts immediately and continues until the end!

Solid three star reading. Had great potential, grabbing me from the very beginning. Lost me about halfway through because it could not hold my attention. I could not connect with any of the characters or the plot. I wanted to love this so much because the realm just seemed so interesting. I was going to unhaul the book off my shelves, but I think I’ll hold onto it and give it a reread in a year or two.
