Solid three star reading. Had great potential, grabbing me from the very beginning. Lost me about halfway through because it could not hold my attention. I could not connect with any of the characters or the plot. I wanted to love this so much because the realm just seemed so interesting. I was going to unhaul the book off my shelves, but I think I’ll hold onto it and give it a reread in a year or two.
