Repetitive story told in three perspectives. And when I thought it might get good, it stopped.
What a lovely story about a multi generational transition of what life was like to what life will be like. A real sense of understanding the loss of the simple things due to aging. Heartfelt story, must read.
Barley 3.5. Could have been a little shorter. If one more pair of balls tighten … uhhh. But I’ll go on since it seems like Hunts balls will be too far from Bryce to tighten.
Sweet, thought provoking, and simple. A story told through poetry. I appreciate this book and how it tugged at my heart. Happy I came across the recommendation.
A true 3 star read.
I feel like I should have liked this more. There were so many elements that grabbed my attention and kept me engaged. Read like a true fairytale but wish it was more fantasy. The parts that I wish were told, the 3 tasks, was skipped over. Light romance. I would read more from this author.

I’m not sure what the reader is supposed to take from the short story, but what I do know is that the potential of this story fell short. This could have been a story of exploration or of mystery. Instead, it came across as a dead end plot. Child like poetry/ song singing that didn’t invest in the plot or main characters.
