I agree with Bethany

4.5 stars. Emma was pissing me off most of the story. I wanted her to step on a lego and stub her pinky toe a few times …. But well written and loving story!

For a middle grade book, this had me wanting to know all the things as they happened. I feel like we as adults are missing out on some great writing in some of these middle grade books. Still pissy about how the parents treated the MC and wish it would have been addressed better in the story.
