Helpful and still relevant to today's timing.
This book has some out of date verbiage but in all, helpful in setting up a routine to clean and manage a home. Fast read, easy to understand and helpful for first time home managers. Not just for women.

2.5 cute and fast read. Not a fan of short stories. Some felt a little to young for my reading and some felt like it was written for an older audience but in the ya genre.
3.5 stars cute, fast paced read that kept me hoping for a cute romance.
The main characters did frustrate me at the beginning. I did not think that I would read the whole book and that this would become my first DNF of the year; however, it did pick up and I finished.
I wanted to strangle the dating company with all the blah matches!

A solid 3 star read. The story was just to fast. I wanted to know more of why she had to be fostered and why she connected so well with those who were fostering her. A sweet story of love and acceptance that also gives light to how a small change or interaction can change who a child is or the character it builds in them.
Fantastic read
Statement above still standard years later. 4.5 stars Reread this book and found it just as great as the first time; although, I did want more from the character building … maybe I just wanted the story to keep going. Def something I recommend all of the time.

2.5 stars - I’m happy I read the series out of order but I won’t be continuing
I read the books in the series out of order and by mistake but I am happy I did. I read three books and enjoyed the fast paced stories. Good in between audiobooks while driving to and from work and late nights up. But when I got to this book, the first book in the series, I lost all interest. The dual perspective of the same character kept losing me.still enjoy the authors writing style just not this book.

This book took me for forever to read and I’m just not a fan. It was a miss for me. 1 star for plot and attempt. 1 star for the setting/characters. Wish I could give a star for the cover. Just not for me.
2.75 stars
Amazing premise to a twisted plot, not yet read before. Unfortunately, this premise fell short. The dual narrative became repetitive and contentious at the same time. It pulled away from the plot, making it hard to get through the middle portion of the book. If I’m being honest, I was hooked at the beginning, and wanted to know what was going to happen, but then partway through the middle. I lost full interest, but Finished to be finished. Not sure I would recommend this read. However, the premise is pretty cool. For a psychological thriller, I always hope for a page turning mystery that pulls at the various ways that my brain thinks things through, and that’s where this book fell short.

When letting go works in your favor! 3.25 stars
It is a cute story about having a crappy day and switching up how you live life. This book bugged me a little bit. While cute and sappy, The main female character was annoyingly pushy, overly self-absorbed and relentlessly seeing things from only her perspective. Yes, you should always shoot your shot. Yes, you should always know what you want. Saying what you want and meaning what you say is important but don't be an ass while doing it! Forcing someone to realize they are on the same page as you can truly backfire in the real world. Say how you feel with the understanding the other person may not feel the same.

True 5 star read!! A well written story. Hard to believe it is a debut novel. I am not usually a fan of dual story; however, this time I loved how it came together and connected so well. I now feel like I need a pet octopus but I think my husband would not agree. Charming, funny and heart grabbing all at once. Well worth the purchase because this is a book I’d read again!
