2024: A 5 star read yet again. It is funny that this is now my 5th or 6th time reading this book and I’m still finding things for the first time. This year what stood out the most was vocabulary. Taking the time to learn new vocabulary and inserting it into your daily conversations. Also, prioritizing and understanding that not everything will get done.

Why did I wait for so long?

This was a high 3.8 read so I gave it a 4 star rating. I enjoyed the story elements, with the plot moving right along. Light fantasy with simple world building. Something that I would
to be a series. A main character willing to do what it took, even if she was not sure her choices were right. An interesting mix of problems and solving attempts.

Facts you need to know: it is a page turner, fast paced, engaging and a fun read.

This book was interesting from the start, grabbing me in the first few pages while on a mini road trip. I found myself trying to figure out the mystery of it all.

This book is not really horror in my opinion but instead a gothic thriller of sorts. I understand why it was voted in 2023 but it is not what I think of when I think horror.

More like a 3.5 - cute fast pace read that kept me engaged, realistic relationship

Fake relationship, turned real. Cute sappy moments that build into a friendship and love interest to relationship. A few moments of "just get over yourself" but all in all, a cute little romance that was a great in between read.
